The study

Twelve readings across the four subsystems, taken against a tolerance written before we see any of your figures. Two weeks. One report. No plan attached to it and nothing to sign at the end.

Terms

Fixed scope, fixed time, one figure

Published here rather than negotiated, because a diagnostic whose scope shifts is not a diagnostic.

RefTermDetail
Scope

Fixed

The same twelve readings every time, so one company can be compared against the next rather than against its own optimism.

Time

Two weeks

From access granted to report delivered. If access slips, the date slips and we say so on the day rather than at the end.

Fee

One figure

Agreed in writing before access is granted. No retainer attached and no plan bundled into it.

Output

A reading

Twelve measurements against twelve tolerances, each marked in or out of range, with the method written next to every figure so your team can take the reading again without us.

Measurements

Three readings per subsystem

Each carries a pass band written into the engagement note before any access is granted.

How it runs

Three steps, in that order.

01

Tolerances first

We send the twelve pass bands and the access list. You agree both in writing. Nothing is looked at until that is done, which is the only way the tolerance cannot be adjusted once the reading exists.

02

Readings taken

Demand and conversion on one side, answers and crawl integrity on the other, and measurement checked against live test events rather than settings screens.

03

Report and walkthrough

One document and one conversation. Every figure carries its method, and the human queue lists the decisions we deliberately did not make for you.

Deliberately absent

There is no plan in the report

No recommended programme, no proposal attached, and no next engagement described anywhere in the document. A reading contaminated by the incentive to sell the next thing is not a reading, and everybody involved knows it while they are reading it.

What you do about the twelve figures is a separate conversation that either happens or does not. Plenty of companies take the report and act on it themselves, which is the outcome the format was designed for.
