Marketing engineering has two prior claims on its name and no written account of what the work actually is. This property writes the account, publishes it in the open, and runs a fixed diagnostic against it.

An academic definition tells you what a discipline studies. A job title tells you that somebody is being hired. Neither one tells a practitioner what to do on a Tuesday afternoon.
There is no published account of the order of operations. Nothing that says instrumentation goes in before the campaign rather than after, or that four of six lifecycle stages tolerate automation completely and two of them get worse when a machine is left alone with them, or what a written tolerance for a demand programme actually looks like on paper.
So the account gets written here, in the open, including the readings that went against us.
Written down so the property can be judged against them later.

Questions about the definition, the method or the notes are welcome, and so is an argument with any of it.
